Blower Door Test Software (iPhone and iPad)
The free iTEC RESNET (Ver 1.0) App makes it easy to comply with the data collection and reporting requirements of the new RESNET One Point Airtightness Test, as specified in Chapter 8 of the RESNET Performance Testing Standards. iTEC RESNET allows the user to manually enter the required Blower Door airtightness data, calculate test results, record customer and building information, display test results and email an HTML report. In addition, project files can be geotagged, time stamped and a single photograph from the camera roll can be linked to the project file. Finally, the application can email a project test file that is compatible with our new TECTITE 4.0 Blower Door PC software.

TECLOG2 - Free Data Logging Software (PC)
TECLOG2 is the The Energy Conservatory's latest data logging program for Windows® based computers. TECLOG2 is designed to monitor and store data from up to 16 DG-700's, DG-500's or APT's devices, and to provide computerized control of multiple Minneapolis Blower Door fans.
The program provides easy control of data acquisition parameters including sampling rates, auto-zero intervals and Blower Door fan flows. In addition, TECLOG2 includes a new feature to calculate and display multi-fan airtightness test results, making it ideal for testing in large commercial buildings. Data viewing capabilities include auto-axis rescaling, adjustable graph scrolling, quick graph zooming, and a moveable measurement line for determining the numeric value and time for individual data points. A statistics utility can be used with stored data files to provide basic statistical summaries for the entire file, or for a user selected portion of the data. Stored data files can also be exported for analysis in standard spreadsheet and statistical programs.

An additional application for TECLOG2 can be found in User Tip #6. This User Tip contains an article describing how to use TECLOG2 and a DG-700 gauge to perform a worst-cast depressurization test. A sample TECLOG2 data file is also provided.
DG-700 Simulator Training Tool (PC)
The DG-700 Simulator is a softare tool that allows trainers to project and control an image of a live DG-700 Pressure and Flow Gauge using a video projector and laptop computer. The simulated DG-700 gauge can be completely controlled using a mouse and clicking on the buttons of the DG-700 image that appears on your computer's display. The DG-700 Simulator is the perfect classroom training tool for demonstrating the capabilities and testing procedures of the most widely used digital pressure gauge in the bulding performance testing industry.

ZPD Trainer Software (PC)
The ZPD Trainer Software is an interactive training tool that can be used to help demonstrate and teach the complex topic of Zone Pressure Diagnostics (ZPD). The ZPD Trainer screen contains 3 zones (house, garage and attic) that can be adjusted to demonstrate the relationship between air leakage and pressure. The software comes complete with charts and an Excel spreadsheet that can be used to teach ZPD concepts and calculate ZPD test results.

ZPD Calculation Utility (PC)
The ZPD Calculation Utility is a simple program which can be used to quickly perform zone pressure diagnostics (ZPD) calculations and estimate the amount of air leakage from attached zones in a house. ZPD procedures typically combine Blower Door airtightness test results with zone pressure measurements made both before and after an opening or hole has been added to one surface of the zone being tested. The ZPD Calculation Utility assumes that the Blower Door test results and zone pressure measurements are being collected using either an Energy Conservatory digital pressure gauge, or as part of an automated Blower Door test.
ZPD Calculation Utility Features
- Program consists of 7 Steps (or screens) which are used to input test information and display test results.
- Calculation procedures incorporate recommendations from recent ZPD study by the Energy Center of Wisconsin.
- Zone leakage results include estimated uncertainties.
- Program includes a check for connnections between zones based on monitored pressure data.
- Test files can be stored and printed.
- On-screen Help.
